Amazing place, staff, and visit. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Small museum but fantastic. House was build 1860, authentic and classy. I loved it. The staff are super nice, informative, and helpful. They even have a game for kids to find some house items and win a prize. Kids had fun, know new information, and we had chance to move to see the the museum. We bought some house made jam and soap from their gift shop. Highly recommended. We drove one hour from Ottawa, no regret. Do not forget to visit the railway museum their, Too close do not waste the chance. We were 8 people, paid only 27. تجربه رائعه في هذا البيت القديم. لعشاق الرقي والذوق القديم التقليدي .. ارجح زيارته بشده وسعره رائع. وما تنسوا تزوروا متحف القطارات هترجعوا للأفلام القديمه بس الفرق ان كل شي حقيقي

Heritage House Museum is such a jewel in the community of Smiths Falls. It's a wonderful place to tour and it gives you a glimpse into what life was like in the mid 19th century. The staff is very knowledgeable and well versed in not only the history of the house but of the town. It's a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

The staff is amazing and the artifacts bring back many memories. The house is very clean and we absolutely enjoyed our visit. It's nice to see the high level of dedication in preserving our past so that our future can be educated and enjoy history for the many years to come

Beautiful grounds to explore and an interesting piece of history - read about it in the book \150 unusual things to see in Ontario\. Unfortunately the museum was closed when we were there - might want to call ahead to confirm the hours.
