I’m 4years sober now. I couldn’t have made this happen with out the help of Serenity star recovery program. They taught me how to grow up and act like an adult. How to cultivate deep self love. How to work through my childhood trauma. How to become empowered and use my voice in the world. How to have a connection to my higher power. And showed me what true unconditional love felt like. All the while keeping a safe environment to do my internal and external healing. I committed to 6 months stayed 8. The doors stayed open so I could leave when I chose. I stayed because my sobriety was my priority. My gratitude and love for this place and the staff is deep. I love who I’ve become today. I’m grateful I was given the chance to heal at Serenity Star. If you want lasting change and to become the person you always wanted to be. I highly recommend.

There are no words to describe all that this place has given me and countless others. Serenity Star has not only given me my life back, it has given me a life worth living. This is the place to dig deep and change literally everything. It is the place to get real and messy and commit to living a life of purpose and significance. All that is asked is complete willingness to change and grow. It is certainly not the program for those who simply want to put down the substances and avoid any further discomfort in either their manner of living or in their world-view. This is a program of radical transformation and it is here that I found myself and a lasting peace that I’ve sought my whole life. I can look people in the eye today and not feel ashamed. I can genuinely connect with other people and embrace who I am with love and acceptance. I can be still and feel the workings of something greater than myself within me and all around me. I can show up as a present, healthy, and loving father and partner. I now have almost seven years clean and I never thought that would be possible for me. This is the safest place I have ever been and I am grateful beyond measure for all that this program gives and stands for.
Serenity star has changed my life in such a drastic way that there is no chance of me ever looking back. I have never loved myself or other people as much as I do today,and that credit is owed to god,my willingness, and serenity star. They have provided me with tools to live a healthy life and a chance to have healthy relationships. If it wasn't for the time, compassion and understanding serenity gave me I would still be living in darkness. Today, I am weeks away from seeing my son for the first time in years, they have helped make this possible.
Serenity Star was a god send for me. In 18 months sober and nothing short of a miracle. The community and the family atmosphere was JUST what I needed to do this. I came in hating myself and with what I thought was NO purpose at all. Not to mention 24/7 trashed. They showed me how to love me, just by loving me. They showed me that drugs and booze was what I used to escape myself. Nobody here is telling anybody to do anything they haven't done themselves for their recovery. I saw people that loved me and had what I wanted. I hated that life I lived. Now I live a life of purpose, I love myself, have a better relationship with my 11yr old daughter, and am still growing on a daily basis with people around me doing the same. Not a cult, u just gotta want it for yourself.
Amazing program. Genuinely care so much for me and my recovery. I have 2 years in recovery now and Serenity Star showed me the way. Disappointed by the reviews calling this place a cult. Not my experience at all. If you need a place to heal from your past and find sustainable recovery I highly recommend this program to those who are ready for change. Grateful for this organization.
