We loved this place. We went on two separate days and it was great, sitting in the sun, drinking Aperol Spritz and watching the world go by. A fair number of locals. Excellent service and good food. In fact it was so good that on the second day we spent several hours there!
Service was very friendly, but food was not satisfactory. Yhe breaded chicken was actually an industrially reconstituted slab. Imagine a flat chicken nugget, only more expensive.
Snack Bar Castillo was brilliant. Quick service, fantastic pizza great atmosphere. We sat outside in the early afternoon sun and had a wonderful meal and drinks. We had 4 sets of drinks (beer and Spritzers) 2 pizzas and a fresh salad to share with a coffee to finish. Total bill 46. Will deffo come back here again if I come back to Venice and there is some lovely sunshine.
