Been waiting for a while to be helped. Went to someone who said they don't know how to help me and to wait for the other guy. Problem is the other guy is having a full on conversation about life with another customer while I sit here waiting to be dealt with. Piss poor service as usual.
The best thing about the U-Haul Center in Snellville GA is associate Freddie S. I’ve been picking up moving supplies past week! Some orders I made online some items I bought in the store. Firstly, I drove 29 miles to that particular U-haul center because the U-haul independent locations in Roswell and Dunwoody weren’t up to par. I knew of the U-haul Center in Snellville so I went there. Secondly, I had several purchases and 2 returns for which I couldn’t find my receipts. Freddie was so patient with me on both occasions when I had returns and questions about previous online orders. I was tired and frustrated with moving and his compassion and professionalism made a frustrating situation so much better. Also, this U-haul Center has everything in stock for my moving needs. I recommend the U-Haul Center at Hewatt Rd and Stone Mountain Highway.
Poor management. No follow up or follow through. My brother had items shipped from out of state. Items arrived 2 days early but no one contacted him. We were told all we had to do was show up to get our items. We called in advance to let them know we were on our way; put on hold for the 38 minutes and then told they needed 24 hrs notice to bring container out for access. So we went back the next day, after giving proper notice, and they started making excuses as to why the container was not ready for access. 20 minutes later we got our shipment and removed our items from the container. What a waste of time!
This is the worst U-haul I have ever been to! As I was in the process of doing a mobile check in, I walk into the store to grab a key and find out the GM had given away the van to another customer. How?! When I tried to rectify the situation, the GM, Victoria, was extremely rude and unprofessional. We contacted the U-haul corporate number, they called the location, and she was still rude with them. The customer service at this location is just not good. The worst part is that I stayed on property long enough (while on the phone with corporate) to watch the other person get into the van I originally reserved and drive away AFTER I had already gotten into the van to take pictures. NOT COVID safe at all! I ended up going to another location that I was pleased with.
