HIDDEN CHARGES, POOR MAINTENANCE. Add an extra 15% at check out on some tools. Mandatory insurance without letting you know. I rented a stump grinder. The cost quoted was 310.00, no mention of mandatory tool insurance. I was told the fuel had to be returned full, but when I picked it up the fuel tank was empty. I had to fill it and return the receipt for credit. This should of been the clue that they pay little attention to maintenance. This became apparent when I started using the grinder. The grinder seemed very ineffective and would only take a bite of a half inch, with fine shavings coming out, an indication of dull blades. It will probably go out to the next renter as dull. Final bill was 380.00 including the fuel I played up front. Unfortunately the consumer, myself included, does not have the expertise to determine that blades are sharp enough, but we are paying for the tool rental department to be knowledgable.

Thank you Snohomish Home Depot Tool Dept. for the great customer service and attentiveness. Simple and smooth check out and check in process. I rented a masonry saw and was ready to go and worked great.

This place is terrible! Don’t get me wrong they have tools.. but... the people running it are dumber than box of rocks! If you don’t care about wasting your time then by all means come here but if want a professional or someone close to having a brain go somewhere else!! Just warning you..
