This place is amazing! I simply cannot say enough great things about Dusty. It was a clean and welcoming environment. Dusty was very attentive and took great care when doing my hair. I can confidently say I will be a returning customer! Also, the café next door is great too if you show up early. A two-for-one review.

Where to begin, Dusty is my new favorite local Hair guy. I'm extremely picky especially since I use to do hair modeling and I am so glad I went to Dusty. I've been receiving so many compliments with my new cut and color. His salon is intimate, cozy, and all around gave me the sense of well being, healthier and much more sustainable (we share the same values) than other salons. If you practice mindfulness, you'll absolutely love this place. Dusty gives you the attention you won't get at a corporate salon. There's street parking in the neighborhood street and a cute patio outside before you enter the salon. He takes the time to get to know your wants and needs and he can translate that beautifully when he loves your hair up. When I reached out on Yelp, he responded quickly and made sure to make the booking experience a good one and answered all of my concerns with dying my hair. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I will continue to go to KOH salon for as long as it exists and refer people here. Looking forward to collaborating with him in future photo shoots. Thank you Dusty for an amazing experience from the minute I reached out on Yelp and even after I left.
I am loving my new hair cut! Dusty totally nailed it. He listens to my hair concerns and after visiting decided on a tweek from what I had before. It is perfect! My hair styles easily, faster and looks goods all day. Thank you Dusty! You are the best!
Dusty is a rockstar, you can tell that he truly cares about his customers and his business. Very professional and listens to everything you tell him, also has incredible attention to detail. I won’t be looking for another barber ever again as long as he’s around.
Dusty has been cutting my hair for the last 3 years. He recently did my hair & makeup for my wedding. He is such a fun person and it felt natural to have him in the room with us while my bridal party was getting ready. He made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! My wedding party & I partied all night and my makeup & hair still looked flawless the following morning(20 hours later!). He also did my bridesmaid's hair & even helped them with their flower crowns & lashes. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted for my hair/makeup, so I just showed him some photos for inspiration and he was able to use his artistic eye to come up with something perfect for me! I would 100% recommend Dusty!!
If you're reading reviews because you're looking for a holy grail salon, look no further. You found it. Dusty and the rest of the staff at KOH's salon are god sends. They are professional, immaculate, and it is an experience to go and get a haircut from them. The location is quaint and quiet and convenient - there is lots of parking, and there's also a bus stop right by the block. Dusty's skills are top tier and their treatment of their customers and their approach to their business is something I'm a fan of. As long as I'm in Seattle, this salon will be my gem. Bonus: They stand by their products. I went a little crazy and bought more than I should, conveniently ignoring the fact that I'm sensitive and my body doesn't like using too many products. The products themselves are amazing though!!! They graciously accepted my return and I didn't feel uncomfortable doing so at all. They have my loyalty and admiration :)
I've been getting my hair cut by Dusty for 5 years now and he is amazing. The space he has created at KOH is soooo beautiful and welcoming. It's like a sweet retreat I get to have each month! I always look forward to going there. Dusty is magical, kind, funny, and a joy to be around. He's also so gifted at cutting/coloring/styling hair, making people look great, and helping people feel great about how they look. He always puts a lot of effort and intention into finding super high quality products to offer at the salon. Couldn't recommend this place more highly!!!
First, the vibe here is so great and the space is so warm and inviting. Second, all the people that work here are incredibly talented. The prices are competitive but not over priced. Parking is easy to find. They have great hours. Honestly this is a great place to try out if you’re looking for a great hair cut.
