Mary and her staff are amazing! I am currently seeing one of her therapists, Nicole. He had seen other therapists before her but none were able to get him to open up the way she did. She met him where he was at and went from there. He talks about Nicole sometimes and I do see a change in his behavior. Grant it, it takes all individuals involved to want to see change but she puts her ALL into it. I hope that Mary continues to higher such a qualified staff!

Although I was happy with the counseling services I received in my short time here, I was incorrectly billed for the the services. This happened while traveling with my husband for him receive medical care. The incorrect charges took up too much room on our credit card, leaving us unable to rent a vehicle and stranded. While waiting for our charges to be refunded, we incurred hundreds of dollars of additional expenses paying for unexpected hotel bills and taxis to and from medical appointments. I came to KPMH to seek help for a really hard time in my life. The stress that was caused by their incorrect billing far outweighed any benefit I received from counseling. On top of that, my counselor left the practice after only a few sessions with her. I never would have begun the therapy process had I known I’d have to switch counselors a month into starting. I wish I never would have sought help here.

I have been seeing Jose Gonzalez for counseling services at KPMH for 6 months. In my first few sessions he identified a bigger underlying trauma that I was completely unaware of due to repressing the memories. He suggested EMDR therapy for me and through those sessions I have healed from that trauma and in extension other traumas and PTSD I have experienced throughout the course of my life. Jose’s approach, kindness, and professionalism provided a safe, comfortable space for me to fully be present during my sessions and focus on the work I needed to do to heal. If you are seeking counseling services I highly recommend Jose and the team at KPMH. My life has changed for the better in ways that I never imagined. The peace, happiness, and stability I have gained through counseling is immeasurable.

KPMH helped me when I was at a low point of my life. I received life changing counseling from experienced and highly trained professionals. My experience with KPMH is overall positive. My counselors made me feel safe and created environment for me to share my story. KPMH offer a variety of therapeutic techniques and systems that can help you with whatever mental ailment you have. Cognitive behavior therapy and Brain Spotting helped me address my trauma. It is good to know that we have a place like KPMH in our community. I am grateful for my time there and will recommend KPMH to those who need it.
