Very cool store. Awesome staff. Seeing all the different bowls and wood projects created there was a delight. Gary gave us a tour through the workshop and we got to touch and smell all the different woods they use. The kid absolutely loved it. It was a great way to end our trip to Soldotna before the long drive home.

Great gallery with a huge variety of items. They have items from bowls and vases to pens and Christmas ornaments. But their best offering by far is their staff. Gary clearly loves his role and we took a beginners class the next day. The class was great, took a few hours and was a lot to learn. Highly suggest it to anyone in the area who appreciates local business, handiwork, woodwork, or wants to learn something new!
Beautiful works of turned wood produced by some of the friendliest people. They have many items for sale ranging from small items like pens and wine stoppers up through bowls and decorative items (including a 2200 piece vase). My personal favorites are the segmented items, but they have many beautiful and different styles to choose from. If you have the time and any interest in woodworking, I recommend taking one of their turning classes. Even if you’ve never considered lathe work, it’s definitely worth checking out. You’ll walk away with a project to display at home, a new skill, and a whole new appreciation for the craftsmanship displayed in the store.
