Came here for the last day of the eat out to help out scheme and was served initially by Aiden, service was not as expected we had to prompt him for attention on several occasions as the staff seemed to congregate and have personal conversations. After this a young guy called Shane assisted with our orders and he was very polite and friendly, we noted with him our initial issue and he apologised and bent over backwards to ensure we were happy throughout our time here. Based on Shane's service I would happily return to the venue and my 4 star rating is based on this solely.

You’re on to a winner! Well done to the owners, you’ve created a gorgeous pub. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here, the crowd of people were pleasant. Went on a Wednesday and it was buzzing. A long way from the days it used to be saddlers arms! Went to the bar, greeted by a friendly smiley staff member. We had a mix grill standard. Plenty for two, really good variety of meat all flavoured well. The garlic naan were delicious, accompanied our main course perfectly. We went for prawns for the main. Yum yum! It’s making my mouth water as I’m writing the review. Look forward to visiting again.

On Monday I was at the restaurant for Help out to Eat out, I was served by Shanie, he was super friendly and gave the best service. I travel a lot for business and would highly recommend for people to visit. Customer service was top notch!!!!

I smile when I experience something that is familiar, in this case British influenced Indian food, with a twist. Yes, you can buy conventional British Indian food here, but there are also a raft of unconventional menu items too. Funnily, this great place could easily be dismissed from a street side glance. It looks like a pub and yes it does serve beer, with its focus more on the craft variety. It also has a raft of tea options to suit your lighter hot drink tastes. Inside it is modern, stylish and kitted out for pundits to spend time socialising. The football was on the many TVs that arch from the corners of the Tap and Tandoor. Food wise I was completely satisfied, the smiley chatty staff assisted me well in my choices. The veggie sizzler, my first, was sumptuous. If you have never told me I would have thought it was meat based given the textures. The dessert, sweet apple filled Samosas with a side of ice cream, brought a smile to my face.
