Had lunch with a friend today at the 99. We had a waitress name Wanda who went way beyond her job to make us feel comfortable. She joked with us and made us laugh. And she also made sure we had everything we needed for lunch. Even before we asked for it. She's such a great waitress. And I will mention the food too the food was great also we both had a seafood dish which was excellent. One of the best afternoons I've had in a long time. Next time I go to the 99 and Somerville I will definitely ask Wanda to be my waitress. You're the best Wanda.

Not a fancy place but food is good quality at a affordable price. Huge cocktails, and large plate sizes. Totally recommended if you are in a tie budget.
The seafood chowder was very good but a skimpy amount. The baked salmon was partly good but was not cooked well enough. Everything else I ordered was very good, potatoes, salad and veggie.
Great food, great drink! Great service. Everyone was respectful, and didn't seemed to miss a beat even with the switch to covid protocols. Would go back, already have gone back. Will go back!
Horrible staff and management! I got there at 8pm and asked for a seat at the bar. The young hostess said it would be a minute, and I decided to wait for the already empty table to be cleaned to be seated. After standing and waiting, next to the table for 25 minutes (25!!). I had enough and ordered to-go, and the same hostess screwed up an easy order of tips and tenders. She was more concerned with her phone than the customers. I went be back.
