Upon having a drastic change in my eye sight, it was determined that I could no longer put off cataract surgery. Dr. Kian and his staff were very professional throughout the appointments scheduled before, during, and after the surgery. They explained in detail what the procedures were, answering any questions I had, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that all my needs were met. So many times, offices schedule the appointments too close together; this office was one of the few in which there was not any delay time. Highly recommended! This eye center was all around fantastic from the friendly staff to the very patient optician I dealt with. I'm excited to have found this place! When I first walked into Sonoran Desert Eye Center I was greeted by a friendly staff member who was smiling and happy. She handed me a clipboard with a bunch of forms to fill out, which I completed and handed to a different lady at the front desk who was also super friendly. Shortly after that I was greeted by Dr. Quaranta, who was extremely nice. Dr. Quaranta took me to one of the exam room and performed a VERY thorough exam snd I felt his equipment was modern and it almost felt new. You know how sometimes when you go to the eye doctor and they try the different lenses and it's hard to pick one? Not here, there was a clear difference between the lenses and I feel confident he got the prescription right. He was also super knowledgeable and explained everything. I like doctors who will take the time to explain things. Dr. Quaranta's assistant was also super awesome. She also took the time to explain everything to me and pointed different parts of the eye. I learned that the optic nerve is composed of a disc and a cup, so now I'll be able to win trivia night! The staff was definitely doing their part to stop the spread of covid 19 including wiping everything down, sanitizing equipment and wearing masks. Plus they had the best smelling hand sanitizer ever. The optician Katie was so patient with me while I tried on like 100 different pairs of glasses and we wound up finding a pair that I liked that wasn't too badly priced. Can't wait for them to come in! She was super knowledgeable and wasn't afraid to share her opinion, which I really liked.

I was very impressed with the services I received at Sonoran Desert Eye Center. The doctors are very caring and knowledgeable. They gave the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. They have special equipment that really evaluates the health of your eyes. The staff were very helpful and caring. They have a huge selection of quality eyeware. They handled our insurance paperwork without any problems. I would highly recommend them.

An amazing experience. I have been a contact wearer for over 35 years and this is the best care I received. I moved to Arizona 3 years ago and needed to find a new eye doctor. I was used to small town, personalized care. I was having multiple issues with my eyes and my contacts. Dr. Quaranta spent time listening to my frustrations and concerns to help find the right product for me. It took multiple visits which were all included with the initial exam and purchase of my contacts. He ended up getting a replacement pair of contacts within the first month at no cost to me because the first ones weren't quite right. I was ready to give up but he was willing to stick with me until I found a product that worked well. I am so glad that he did. I now have contacts that give me the far vision that I need when driving or hiking and I just got a pair of progressive lenses for when I am working in the evening at the computer. Many people recommend going to a big box store because \their prices are cheaper\. I can tell you that my experience is the EXACT opposite. Dr. Quaranta stands behind his work and is not happy until you are happy. He checked my eyes multiple times to see if he could better near vision with my contacts without losing far vision (I guess I need a new pair of 20 year old eyes). If I would have gone anywhere else, I would have been met with a frustrated doctor and multiple office visits. He and his office staff are amazing and go out of their way to assist the patient. If you are looking for individual personalized care, you will find it with Dr. Quaranta.
