Place should change its name from SAVES to DEATHS. DO NOT go here if your pet needs critical care emergency as the vet here is not qualified to determine critical care needs vs non critical (life or death). If you have a dog that needs emergency care make the drive to Union City Emergency Vet Care, Saint Frances or Blue Pearl Emergency if you want your dog to live. Choosing this place you will end up with a big bill and a dead dog. The vet can probably handle your basic bite wounds, stitching, mild illness etc, but if your dog is in dire needs, please don't go here. She killed my dog due to not knowing the difference between critical care and non and due to her negligence my dog died a painful agonizing 9 hour death. See the cut and paste from a former reviewer. Wish I read reviews prior to going here. I lived this woman's story on New Years Eve morning. The below is pasted from a year ago (so clearly the vets haven't learned) as what happened to me was step by step the same.

We had to have our sweet Nicky put to sleep. He was 17 years old and very sick. They gave us all the time we needed with him. They were very professional! I would recommend them to everyone!

I just wanted to take a few moments to thank the S.A.V.E.S clinic for being so kind at my visit this past Saturday. Dr. Johnson went above and beyond his line of duty to comfort me during our visit. He was very thorough and explained everything about what my cat, Zebra, was going through. He was very honest with me. We decided it was her time to go so he was very patient and let me spend as long as I needed with her before he took her in. I got to be with her through the end and he was very nice and talked me through it. I wish that Dr. Johnson had his own practice to where he could be a daily vet, and not for emergency’s only. He was AMAZING! Oh, and they were not outrageous on price. We were expecting a few hundred dollars due to it being a Saturday and an emergency visit, but they were very affordable.

If I could give more than 5 starts then I would. I honestly don't know where to begin. I am so thankful for the entire staff at SAVES. They took amazing care of my dog Tinkerbell, who I wasn't sure was going to make it. Not only was my dog handled with care and compassion, but so I was. She stayed with them for 3 days and everyday my calls were greeted friendly and professionally. I am so appreciative for SAVES and I would recommend them a million times over.

Mr Josh and Ms Ryan were phenomenal today. We picked up our friends dog from a boarders were she was injured while her owner was in another state and they were there to help. Sadie’s eye was very injured and they were responsive and took GREAT care of her. Josh was so nice and friendly and answered all my questions. They all did such an amazing job. I can’t say enough good things about them. I am so thankful for SAVES being there for everyone in an emergency situation.
