The passing of my beloved puppy, Bonnie, was handled with care a professional sensitivity. We had her cremated and South Hill Veterinary provided us with genuine service that included a decorative container for her ashes, Certificate of Cremation as well as the book \For Every Dog An Angel\. The Rainbow Bridge poem was very comforting. Thank you

We are truly grateful for Dr. Stoehr and all the veterinarian hospital staff for taking such wonderful care of our pup! Our little 5-month toy poodle had a fracture on her tibial crest and it is especially quite difficult during Covid-19. However, we were able to have our puppy examined and treated right away by South Hill Vet! We were really glad that she had the treatment shortly after the fracture, and we appreciate that they fit us into their business schedule! We thought our puppy would need surgery, however, Dr.Stoehr suggested Splint treatment first and hopefully it heals on its own. After 4 weekly check-ups, she is finally off the splint and recovering! We are really happy that our little gal is all better and she doesn’t need a surgery! We trust South Hill Veterinarian and they really do care about our pets and hope the best for them:)

South Hill veterinary is amazing!! They took our puppy in right away when we had two different emergencies. The doctor himself called three times to check on him after being treated. They really cared about our puppy and weren’t just trying to get our money. This will definitely be our go to vet for now on. Highly recommend everyone to go to South Hill Veterinary and see Dr. Johnson!

Dr. Johnson took the time out of his busy day to call us for a concern we had regarding our dog. I felt that he listened and understood my concern for our dog, as well as explaining his answers thoroughly. Most vets,I feel especially being busy due to covid precautions slowing the appts. down with the techs having to come to your car to get your pet, would not have taken the time to call and it would be easy to say just make an appt. to discuss the concern.

South Hill declawed and spayed my cat about two months ago. I was very impressed because not only was my cat completely calm here, but the vets also caught an infection during the surgery process and we never had any complications since. I am very glad that they took such great care of my girl.
