Several years ago I found myself drinking nearly every night to the point of intoxication. I was depressed and feeling pretty hopeless. A friend of mine suggested I join a support group for people who where drinking too much and that is how I found South Platte Counseling. Through their group therapy sessions (which are a lot less expensive than always seeing a therapist individually) and working with different specialists in the office, I learned about how I was coping with my problems by abusing alcohol. I learned about my special brand of anxiety and how to positively overcome it. I learned how to become a better husband and father. Most of all, I learned how to be comfortable living in my own skin. I would not be overstating that South Platte Counseling saved my life, I am a client for life.
