Brandie has saved my life! She is the most helpful and amazing therapist I’ve ever seen! She explained everything in a manner that made sense to me, and she showed me great tools I can use on my own! She is fantastic and I would highly recommend her! And this clinic!

South point wants to charge me for my DEAD daughters balance because I want to take my suicidal granddaughter there. This is a place that's supposed to help people. I have dual insurance for my granddaughter and can pay for current services I want to contract with them. I'm a single mom. I can't afford to pay my deceased daughters bills. I sure hope the counselors there are better than the administration.

Alisha Mills has been amazing to work with. I really appreciate her kind and engaging approach, and she is amazing at making me feel safe and listened to. She's so observant, yet patient, and you never feel like you are wasting her time, which is so different from other therapy experiences I have had. Additionally, the coping skills and CBT exercises she recommends for me are always thoughtful and effective, and she is open to changing her approach if something doesn't seem to stick. Could not recommend her enough! Additionally the staff at the front desk has always been very helpful and friendly, and any scheduling or payment issues have always been addressed quickly and professionally.

I took my teens there for some counseling, that was supposed to be covered 100% by my EAP. Anything not covered by the EAP was supposed to be covered by their biological father and his insurance. They confirmed the all, and used my HSA card as a "security" They ended up charging me copays for each session and did not bill their dad's insurance for sessions outside of the EAP. Their person answering phones in the billing department is rude, and very short in her manner of speaking to customers, stating that their CSO will research what happened and call me back. Based on her attitude alone I would not recommend this business! (Keep in mind I had to call them to discuss this even though when I had talked to reception a few weeks ago, their front desk assured me that they'd call me that day. That never happened) In discussing with my teens how their sessions went, they both stated that all they really did was "hang out" and "colored some stuff" We never got reports from the counselors nor did we see any progress nor improvements in the kids. This feels like a huge waste of time, and that we were overbilled for. I'll make sure to let my insurance company and benefits providers know to remove this company from their referral lists so that others don't get taken advantage of as this company did to us.

I want to say how grateful I am to Kim and South Point Counseling for helping and continuing to help me through a very tough journey the last few years. I am a more whole and healed person compared to when I first walked through the doors. I have gone through a lot of tragic loss and life situations and Kim has walked me through a really unique journey of healing and understanding of myself. This week I have been doing a little reflection of where I was and who I am today, and I just feel a lot of gratitude to have found someone who provided so much support, kindness, non judgment, gave me things to ponder and reflect on, challenged me, called me out sometimes, and showed up for me for every appointment. If you choose to go through counseling, I recommend it. It won’t fix all your problems but it will give you an understanding of who you are and who you’re not, it will improve your mental health and out look, and it is nice to have someone outside your normal day to day relationships teach you and hold your hand as you put pieces of a broken life back together and move forward. I give a high recommendation to South Point and Kim Newman.

Julian won’t be there for you when you need him most. He let’s his personal feelings interfere with your therapy sessions. Once his feeling have been hurt he will cancel all of your sessions and won’t return your calls. I won’t be referring anyone to him or his practice.
