Ordered the sesame chicken. First off the pieces are WAY to big to fit in any normal mouth, each piece was the size of a large kiwi. Then while picking it up the breading immediately falls apart and the chicken slides out, leaving only a bite of an empty breading shell. FOR EVERY PIECE. It was maddening! I ended up not eating any of it. Definitely do not order that dish. Stick to the veggies only.

As an Asian, I get hankering now and then for some Asian food. Been to every Asian places within 30 miles. First time at Evergeen Chinese; pleasantly surprised. Despite its appearance as (typical yellow sign w/ dark letters) and it is not authentic Chinese, but for American Chinese, the simple recipes were damn good! Asked for not too oily, spicy #8 out of 10. Well balanced flavors and spices. Actually made American Chinese palatable. Inviting all my Jewish friends for Christmas lunch!
Awesome Chinese food at an affordable price. Honestly can’t go wrong here. There are only 2 Chinese food places I go to in Maine and this is one of them.
Nice vibe, 2 floors. 2 bars downstairs made some taste happy hour drinks. Veggie basket was delish.
