Kids there are crazy and staff are unnecessarily cruel. Didn't even get to make a phone call for almost a week sometimes after intake because the person you're supposed to do it with never came to work... food was usually good tho and the fights were entertaining to watch. Teacher had candy which was lit but the bedtime was mad early. And we deadass like never went outside.

Never been inside. Lived in Redbank as a kid in the 80's. We called this place the BTC. Anyway what it has is the most awesome sledding hill around. Kids from Redbank and Old English village all would sled there. Classic.

I spent time here back in the 1970s when it was called Btc or Boys training center and it was a wasted 3vweek psychological evaluation that was a waste of tax payer money. Not sure what Maine is like now but back then joining the Navy was the best thing I could have done.
