Stars taken off for how difficult it is to reach a live person on the phone. Please add an "operator" option to the automated phone menu, I lost something valuable in the store and I couldn't get a live person to answer multiple extensions. I know it's cheaper to only have a robotic phone menu, which was exhausting to deal with and poor customer service. In store shopping is pleasant and the employees on the floor are helpful but the phone experience was abysmal.

Checking out couch ideas for the new living room. Macy's is the first place I check and has always been the last place I go! Love these. I bought my leather sectional 11 years ago, moved multiple times and this couch still looks like new. Macy's might be a higher price then the big box stores but the price you pay up front saves you money for many years to come.

Haven't been in a long time but needed some things so...I went and got just what I needed. Waited in line for check out. Great gal who took great care of us. Had a great experience and got what we needed.

Seems like they don't really care about the store appearance much anymore. Not very neat and racks pretty jumbeled up. Price is ok but not great and finding someone to help is impossible. Would recommend other places myself.

Rude. A paying customer, we are outside the ladies fitting room where my daughter is trying on multiple dresses and walking out to show us and view in the mirror. There was a LARGE rolling rack in front of the fitting room mirror that my daughter spun so she could see in the mirror. SHE spun it perpendicular to the mirror so it would not block the isle OR the mirror. The worker lady in photo, came by Turned the rack, pushed it in front of the mirror THAT MY DAUGHTER AND WE WERE USING AT THAT MOMENT.. I stood and slid it out..which of course now blocked the little isle. The lady snapped at me and said, "I can't have that" I clarified we were using the mirror. Her response? "That is what the mirrors in the fitting room are for" Hmmm..so my husband and I are supposed to go in the fitting room and stand outside the door/curtain while Macy's offers a cute little sitting area outside the private fitting room with a mirror for friends and family to view the new attire...hmmm. who died and made her Queen? The photos are after she blocked mirror and I moved it out of our way and she starting to move it back. I mean REALLY??? So... She moved it back in the way. UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE. If she worked for me, she would be walking down the road carrying her lunch bucket (fired). We did find 4 dresses BEFORE MISS "B" showed up. And the B has two meanings. Her attitude AND her name. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I walked into the store and ask a staff- Maureen to help locate some jumpsuit. Staff-Maureen reply she has seen them somewhere but doesn’t know where they are and walked away. She didn’t border to ask her coworkers or point me in the right direction. I spent over an hour looking for jumpsuits in the store and still did not find it. Is very disappointing to have staff members that doesn’t know their store or items locations in the store. She did not seem to care, poor customer service.

Good place to go and browse for deals, gifts. The Portland store is definitely looking it's age but the fact it's still around in the retail store apocalypse means people still like to hit up Macy's. Good selection of furniture and home goods. Okay in the clothes department. I was recently there and we purchased a 12 piece bedroom comforter set. We were pleased with what we purchased and got a great price (129). Only was surprised how picked through the shelves were, given not many people in store due to Covid-19, and that they didn't have a huge selection. But all is all, it's Macy's. Nothing to get too excited about.
