In 2006, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates became the first and only OMS office in New England to gain accredited status by the Joint Commission as an office based surgery facility. Later in 2006, we were pleased to receive the Maine Medical Center Physician-Hospital Organization Specialty Care Award. No other OMS practice in Maine received this high honor.
