Good quality construction but save yourself the hassle and deal with a company that has their act together. The theme of my experience is lack of communication and coordination: 1. Starting with the owner, who was pompous and arrogant. On my first and only interaction with him, he waved a wad of cash in my face, complained that time was money, and I was wasting his time. This was all was due to a lack of communication and lost documents in the business office. It was made clear to us that we were just a job for them, and they were more concerned with keeping to a schedule than doing things the right way. 2. We were promised at contract signing the pool work would be coordinated with the contractor performing my landscaping. They never returned his calls. He ultimately stopped by the office for updates, which they did not provide. All coordination was last minute and not communicated with advanced notice to have the contractor be available. 3. The office informed us that the pool was complete. My husband called twice about concerns the salt system functioning properly. It wasn’t until contacting an external pool supply store and testing the water that the company indicated salt was never actually added yet. 4. We paid 500 for someone to come, open the pool and explain how things work. This never happened. We were never refunded the money and have learned about the pool functions through YouTube and the local pool store.

Had pool built last year. Very happy, Steve and Patti are very helpful and professional. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting a pool.

Someone in my neighborhood got a pool done by them. Sign in front of the yard. I liked the pool size is exactly what im looking for. I inquired today and called the number on the sign. Female receptionist told me they cant not take my call nor I can speak with a sales representative since they're book until the last day of august.I guess everyone on long island is getting a pool this month. Makes no sense.

In the beginning of this year we had a pool installed by South Shore Pools. We had the pleasure of dealing with the owner Steve and from beginning to end the experience was top notch. I would recommend this company to anyone that will be taking on a large project like this. There office was great to deal with as well !

We had a pool and spa installed this past fall and the pavers completed in the spring. From start to finish South Shore pools was amazing. We met with other companies before choosing them and was very happy with our decision. Not only for there unique pool designs and competitive prices but the professional service we received from day 1. Also loved that they did all the masonry as well. Everything went very smooth and any little hiccups that may have happened was always taken care of right away. Joe has been amazing helping us with the process from start to finish. Especially with never having a pool before he has really guided us through the whole process and is always there for us even months after completion. Patty in the office is wonderful as well always calls back right away and very helpful. Excellent company all around with amazing customer service. I can’t say enough good things about them!
