We have been taking our pets to South Suburban Animal Hospital since 2004. We highly recommend it! The veterinarians are all exceptional, especially Dr. Amanda Henderson. She is so kind and caring, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. All the technicians are wonderful! Service is organized, cleanly, and prompt. We enjoy bringing our pets there for grooming, checkups, and boarding. We know they will get excellent care! Thank you so much everyone at South Suburban!

I feel they do a fantastic job for as busy as they are. They have treated my dog for years and she is happy and healthy. Dr. Henderson is soft spoken and takes the time to listen to concerns and answers all questions. I'm given choices as to my dogs treatment and the ultimate decision is mine to make.

Caring staff, great facility, always feel safe bringing/leaving my dogs with them. Each vet visit is pleasant, and even the pups don't mind thanks to the attention they receive. Boarding gets pricey because we had a pupper get sick while in their care, but we knew that he was in good hands. Have been going for years with family pets and our own and plan on continuing to do so.

We have gone to South Suburban for many years and have always been thankful for the good care. We usually see Dr. Henderson but over the years, I think we have seen all of the staff. We have also seen Dr. Carstensen at East Suburban. I know he will be missed now that he is retired. Our Maltese, Gemma, also sees sweet Lindy for grooming. I only have one disappointment and that is that South Suburban is no longer locally owned by Dr. Eisenhouer but by NVA. That accounts for the major change in the refusal to fax a prescription to the pharmacy of our choice. We had to make a trip back to the Vet to pick it up or use their pharmacy, which of course, is more expensive. My husband went back to the Vet to pick it up, out of principle. of the whole issue. As one reviewer said, our human docs will send the Rx wherever we want but not the doc of our fur babies. I hope you reconsider this change -- IF the new national ownership allows it.

Our past pup was blind and had some neurological issues. We now have two pups and one is both blind and deaf. We love the pups that need a little extra and working with South Suburban gives us confidence that we can meet those needs with great care. It would be hard for us to go anywhere else.
