Southdowns have mismanaged our property from the day they took over the contract. We had a small leak when it rained and they did nothing that was a year ago. Now we have a large leak which is finally being addressed but the problem behind it has become more substantial. When contacted for small jobs lights blown in the communal hallway, lift not working they have to be badged into doing something. Avoid them save your money.

I used Southdown for a full building survey, and I've been really impressed with both the communication from their offices, and the detail of the survey received. In addition to the normal scope of the survey, I had some specific queries for the surveyor, which he addressed comprehensively. The report contained a lot more detail than I expected, and some of the additional information really saved me some work when I moved in to the property! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Southdown for your house survey.
