Since I froze my membership back in March for 6 months which I was told was \free of charge\ I had three payments taken in June, July and August without any warning. The club manager Terri promised a refund during the first week of August. 2 months on, and despite calling, emailing and going down to the gym, no refund, no explanation and they choose to ignore. Please look at the Anytime Fitness UK Trust Pilot reviews and think twice before signing up the this gym.

Great gym, friendly staff, lots of equipment so rarely have to wait and nice atmosphere.
They are the biggest scammers stay away from this franchise of gym at all costs. They will try to scam every penny out off you by hitting you with every kind of fee. Just look at the UK Trust pilot reviews they are all being scammed.
DO NOT RECOMMENDED I closed my subscription But they activated it again without saying anything, If I hadn't checked my bank account, they would have taken a lot of my money
It is definitely the best anytime fitness from all that I visited. It’s huge, very clean and bright. It has great range of equipment and convenient layout! Will be visiting this place with a great pleasure when will be in Southend!
