I ordered a meal from Fat Pizza at 17:39 this evening. At 19:00 I ended up having to cancel my order. My issue is this, I ordered through their app. The app advised my food would be ready by 18:30-18:40. At 18:23, I received a message that my food was en route, and would be 7 minutes. At 18:50 I phoned the call centre, and got through to a young lady who couldn't find my post code, proceeded to wait while my order was retrieved by my order reference number. Something I was told was not needed at the start of the call. Eventually after asking for a manager i spoke to an unhelpful and rather rude young man, who said i should know its Friday and I should be prepared to wait as long as it takes. Thing is, i ordered and went with Fat Pizza on the basis that I had an understanding of the length of time their app advised. Its important to remember this, a take away is a treat. A reward for the end of the working week. We choose to spend our hard earned money with you, on the basis that you can meet the standards set by yourself. I suspect Fat Pizza will not care at losing my custom. However you do this on a weekly basis and I can assure you will be gone in a few years time. But at least I have Pappa John's to fall back on. Thanks for reminding me of the fact!

Fat Pizza Colchester - first opened it's doors at 19:00 tonight. Order arrived within specified time. 2 pizzas, 2 sides, plus 2 ice blasts (screw you cinema) Tasty, great portion size and the delivery man was lovely. No complaints at all. Judge yourself rather than these reviews :)
