Cannot speak to this facility prior to COVID, but our experience with no visitation has been abysmal. After two weeks of not seeing our father and calling for daily updates with no concerns from staff my sister walks in to see our father unshaven, filthy and no bath for the two weeks he’s been there. Never was family notified he was refusing baths OR refusing to get dressed. A rehab facility that leaves a patient in a gown for two weeks and the worst part is the lack of compassion for your loved one from leadership when you express the concerns, you are told to “let them talk”. Who’s talking for your patients? Do not feel safe with our loved one there and definitely do not recommend, wish we had read the reviews here before we chose Sky. Admissions coordinator will sale you the moon and the stars to chose Sky, but no follow up on the promises they make and the stories they tell about family involvement.

The staff at this facility lack compassion. My loved one was neglected, belittled and made to feel worthless during his stay at this facility. His stay was cut short due to an infection that caused him to become severely septic and is now fighting for his life. He needed to have a catheter 3 times a day, and was made to go almost 24 hours without having one, causing a UTI that turned into sepsis.

Everyone has been very nice to my father. I've got to say the issue Im having the patient is to wear mask at all times but they have hard time breathing, what u do? Also your only excepting one person forever to visit nobody else. There is to be no other family visiting loved one. The same one person everyday till they are done. I understand your Covid Concerns, but I belive your staff have brought covid more then visiters! There were many of staff wearing their mask the wrong way. Does your policy protect your patients health from employees? I doubt it! No matter the circumstance covid will find its way in from somewhere, I doubt it will be from the front door!

My sister has been there approximately 2 weeks and has regressed instead of making progress she has been let down to the floor twice her dentures were thrown away she has fallen out of bed one of her caretakers tested positive for covid and they just tested her this week she has developed a cough wheezing. Her call light was laid on the floor because she calls out to much so they put her on Xanax now she sleeps for than ever. We were so anxious to get her rehab apparently we should have researched some other facilities.

My aunt was there due to a stroke. The therapist were nice but the people in charge where hateful. There is no place for HATEFUL people in a medical facility. Bedside manner is part of recover for the patient. Hateful people hinder recovery.
