I have been there to stop and take a bite and for coffee while driving back to Boise. The place is set on 42 acres and offers a scenic mountain and river view. We had cupcakes and coffee. When we went to the outdoor patio, the view was so mesmerizing. We saw some deer there. The unique setting in the lodge representing Idaho made a memorable impression to our mind. I would say if you are driving through ID highway 21 or Ponderosa Pine scenic route, you can stop here to take rest and grab a bite.

We stayed a night here in the cabins and ate at the restaurant twice. Cabin was adorable and super clean. The bed was not comfortable for me though. My partner said it was so I guess that’s personal preference. The food was good, nothing exceptional but it was quick service and everyone was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean spacious rooms, reasonably priced. Was snowy and they were on top of the plowing. Cute little coffee shop, too. Main downside was the food. I ordered the Malibu chicken and it was very rubbery and chewy. Wish I could have tried the breakfast but they weren't serving it the next day. Still worth a stop. Nice people running the place.

We loved this place! The room was super clean; furniture, towels and everything like new! The staff was friendly and excellent! The room was very spacious and right on the river. We also had dinner and yummy breakfast there! We’ll definitely come back!

WOW, we read the reviews about the "mean lady", who turns out to be the owner, but we saw it for our selves this weekend. She was rude and not welcoming when we checked in while reciting all the rules of staying in the Inn rooms. This could have been done in a very welcoming manner. The owner was working the patio bar and told us we had to go upstairs to the restaurant for a cup of ice I wanted for my bottled water and to order dessert, when her husband told us he would get it for us, we were at the downstairs patio with the inside bar right there! The lack of welcoming customer service was again witnessed when we were leaving after a nice breakfast on the balcony. A couple had come in and asked to eat out on the balcony where we had just been and the same lady, owner said rudely, " we don't serve breakfast outside, you will have to eat inside." We had just come from the balcony and hearing this in the rude tone of voice made us cringe. The room was clean and we were glad we got one that did not allow dogs. It's a great place, food was great, but I think the rudeness and obvious lack of customer care protocol was apparent. So much money can be made with repeat customers if only the front line person, who happens to be the owner, showed she cared about the people paying her prices for service. Not sure we will be back due to that one person. Her husband was amazing!!! Remember, repeat customers bring others and spread the word!!!

The staff and new owners are wonderful! Food was super yummy! We came to spend our Anniversary, the Cabin was so cute and cozy! We highly recommend staying here! SUCH a beautiful setting in the mountains!

I will not waste my time on the details! Overall POOR SERVICE - POOR FOOD for the PRICE. The food was almost an hour getting to us and the longer we waited the colder we got. Some of the food didn't come to the table, we ask for it more than once. Some was cold and one order was nothing described in the menu Have been here several time in the past , but not again. New Owners must set the bar much higher to stay open.
