Awful experience. Booked a table for dinner. Arrived. Table wasn't booked. We was told we couldn't sit at a table because they were reserved, dispite there being no one there. So we left. Awful customer service. Won't be coming back and will be making a formal complaint to head office.

Walk-in facilities available for those who don't pre-book. You look at some pubs and think to yourself 'There's no way that's 2 metres in between those benches'. Well, there is 2 metres at The Bold. Safe drinking in a pleasant environment
Quite a wait for food, variable in quality. I was very satisfied but my friend found steak to be tough. No outdoor heating
Food here is amazing! Beautifully presented and very delicious. Staff are very pleasant.
Just visited for Christmas Dinner with my husband, what can I say other than perfect, Dinner was beautiful, staff were excellent very attentive friendly very professional nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend the Bold Arms Churchtown. Merry Christmas to everyone xx
Felt very safe at the Bold Arms with social distancing in place. Had a lovely meal to celebrate a special birthday and our other friends' special anniversary. Must mention how helpful Jo was in taking our order and bringing drinks and food to our table. A lovely " normal" time.
I would recommend this place to eat as they do outstanding Sunday roast dinners including other excellent meals throughout the week.
