Cracking pub and really good food! I’ve had a few burgers in my time and The Spitfire did not disappoint! Great service even though they were short staffed! I’ll be back once restrictions have lifted! Many thanks

Rang up tonight last minute for a table of 5 as been in Southport all day and they fitted us in with no issues. Looked a nice pub from the outside and expected the usual pub food but was pleasantly surprised. This is our first visit here and the food was gorgeous and tasted like it had been freshly cooked. Presentation was second to non and was value for money. Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend.
5 Star no doubt, food is absolute quality. Presentation is elegant like something Gordon Ramsey himself would be proud of. I would recommend without hesitation. Also very reasonable pricing
First time we've been here and definitely will be back, food was amazing and the dessert was heavenly and one of the best I've eaten, forgot to take a picture of mains, staff where friendly and owner was great with the children. Will definitely be coming again
Good for drinks don’t bother for food. Having frequented this pub before in the past for drinks I thought that the establishment was friendly and homely . Having attended today and for the first time ordered food I was some what horrified. My food was far to greasy, the slate was dripping with it. I brought this to the attention of the waitress who dealt with this swiftly and professionally. I identified a black short hair in my friend’s wife’s food, upon this find we decided to check the rest of the food and found a large black hair in the babies food. My friend found a white short hair on his plate and so we won’t be dining again.
