I have just returned from a visit with my dad, the first face to face visit that has been possible ( because of Covid restrictions) since Dad moved to Oakland Grange in November. It feels really welcoming, the staff are wonderful and so caring. They clearly genuinely care about the residents. Despite his advanced Alzheimer’s dad is happy and well cared for. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My aunt is now living there and we are very impressed from the moment we walked in to check the accomodation. The staff are excellent and will do everything to ensure that my aunt comfort is looked after. Here are the list of things that makes oakland grange a good home: good location, adequate facility, good accomodation, good food, excellent lounge and dining, lots of activity and most importantly excellent service from the team member. Thank you Charisma, the manager and her professional team. Well done.

My parents-in-law were fortunate to be accommodated together at Oakland Grange . Right from the start, the staff could not have been more kind , nor helpful. They assisted us with making both rooms homely. The communal areas are lovely, protected meal times in a very nice dining room, with excellent food. Lots of activities on offer for residents too. But it has been their care throughout that has impressed us the most . Even as Mum's condition has become challenging to manage, they have gone over and above in caring for her and keeping her safe . The staff ensured that she was palliated with dignity and gentleness, and also supported Dad greatly, in this very sad and difficult time. They have been a strength to our whole family. We have so much gratitude and admiration for the whole team . We cannot thank them , nor recommend them enough .

Poor care of residents and has an overwhelming odour of urine. Privacy and dignity are severely lacking. Being there is an existence, not living. Owner obviously has no tolerance of any other person's view, hence the totalitarian reply posted. It just adds weight to my free speech opinion.

I only went to deliver some goods,it was a really old building,quite dark inside but the staff i saw seemed quite ok.
