Andy is the best guitar teacher I’ve ever had! He is patient and considerate. He tailors each lesson exactly to what you want to do/ learn in any genre. He’s extremely knowledgeable and incredibly skilled. An all round fantastic teacher. I’m pretty sure he could teach you anything to do with guitar and music theory. He makes each lesson fun whilst pushing you to do your best. Plus he’s just a really nice guy. I would very highly recommend him as a teacher.

I started lessons with Andy, as a beginner, in February 2020 and now, just over 6 months later, I feel so confident around a guitar. With Andy's great tutoring I have learned how to play 4 different songs, each using a different number of techniques, and at the same time I have come to understand a huge amount around music theory. Andy is a very dedicated tutor and his approach to his teaching is very student focused which provides me, as the student, with a say on the direction that my learning takes. Andy's passion for guitar playing, and music in general, clearly comes across each week. The studio in which we hold our lessons in is a great space to work from but we have also made lessons work very well on a remote basis through Skype. For anyone looking for a guitar tutor then I could not recommend Andy enough!
I would highly recommend Andy to anyone considering guitar lessons. He is incredibly patient and explains concepts in a very understandable way. The lessons are tailored around your interests. His musical knowledge, passion and skills are second to none. Since taking lessons with him my guitar playing has progressed better than I could have imagined!
As a self taught guitarist, and active guitarist in a band, I started having lessons with Andy to iron out my rather sub par guitar techniques. Andy is a really patient, really effective guitar teacher who has brought my playing on leaps and bounds since I've been having lessons. I would not have been able to write most of the songs on our new album without his help and tuition. As well as in person tuition Andy also provides guitar tabs and videos to help learn which I've found to be incredibly valuable. I can now play Hendrix and Frusciante guitar parts..something I only dreamed about before. I would strongly recommend for anyone looking to improve their playing to get lessons with Andy.
I have been having lessons with andy for six weeks and I cant believe how much i have improved in that time. I have been with 3 other teachers and andy is by far the best. Great lessons and great tutor.if you want the best go with andy.
