Today was my 1st visit with Dr. Spain. She is such a friendly person. She made me feel completely welcome. When she got down to business she had me feeling so relaxed I was actually surprised. I haven't felt this good in several months. Thank you Erin!

I saw Dr. Spain throughout my pregnancy with my second child. Toward the end of my pregnancy my midwife mentioned my hips were tight and to see if Dr. Spain could help with that. Spain did a treatment on my hip after I told her of the issue. I saw her one to two times a week so the next visit I did she did the treatment again. This time asking if my baby has been head down the whole time. I said yes. She said that since my baby has been head down the whole time and I was almost done with my pregnancy that she was not worried about the baby flipping to breach and that the treatment she was doing could cause a baby to flip. My first thought was, why in the world if there was any chance of a baby to flip would she do the that trearment? My next appointment with my midwife was 3 days later and my baby had flipped to breach. I came back to Spain to hopefully do something about this, but also to ask her what part of the treatment she was doing could cause a baby to flip. I am always seeking the why and just wanted understanding. She quickly told me that she never said the treatment could cause a baby to go breach and nothing about the treatment would cause this. The very fact that she acted like I had just made up a conversation instead of helping me to understand what part of it could have caused it made me so upset. It is very rare for a baby to flip breach 36 weeks. I am very positive it was her treatment that did it. I wanted understanding so I asked her why, she denied the whole conversation ever happened. I ended up having a c section.
