I have never personally ridden with this company, but I would NEVER entrust my life with this company, as they cannot hire competent and safe drivers. I was driving today, and was getting off my exit and in a lane to turn right. A Dakota bus was in a lane to turn left, and was stopped at the light at the end of the off ramp. As I approached the light, the driver decided he no longer wanted to turn left, and pulled out in front of me to get in the right turn lane. This was when I was only a few feet away. I slammed on my breaks, and luckily didn’t slam into the bus. I drive a small car, so the bus definitely would have won. If the driver decided to go a different direction, he/she should have continued to turn left and found a way to turn around instead of risking someone’s life just switching lanes at the last second on an off ramp.

This company is glad to take your money, but don't expect it to keep the busses in working order or to repair the seats

Dakota Bus #20 with a driver named Ron took agroup of seniors to The Lodge in Deadwood South Dakota and he was the worst driver we have ever had. He never helped the people in or out of the bus the a step of almost two feet to enter and leave. It's a wonder someone didn't fall. Also this Driver never stopped at two different sets of Rail Road tracks. We have had a number of bad drivers with this company, but this guy was by fae the worst and should not be allowed a licence.

The intersection of 11th and Philips in downtown Sioux Falls IS NOT a loading zone, especially during rush hour... Please inform your driver's of this.

Dakota bus is used to transport miners back and forth to work in the coal mines of what. They do not keep the buses in great shape seats are broke, heaters and defrost hardly works. Have complained many times but falls on deaf ears. Use a different bus company if at all possible
