Stayed here over the last weekend and it was a great place! Everything is very clean and the hosts were incredibly helpful and accomidating. We stayed in the Tatanka suite and the view from the patio was incredible. A very nice relaxing weekend thank you!

Rim Rock Lodge is the place to go if you want to escape away from everything going on in your life. It’s in the heart of spearfish Canyon, also amazing and beautiful! No cell service, no WiFi, no TV. The cabins are cute, comfy and have full bathrooms. My husband and I have stayed twice. 2017 & 2018. It’s our weekend get aways in the summer. We hike, visit the waterfalls, especially the one we got engaged at. If you get a chance to stay here you will find trails decorated with art from South Dakota, chairs, benches, hammocks, games up at the top, picnic tables, breakfast and so much more.
We stayed here on our travels across the country. We loved our cabins and our hosts arranged for the most delicious gluten free bread (I wish I'd gotten the name of the brand!). My only regrets are that we didn't arrive sooner and stay longer. So worth it!
This place is going to be my go-to for future trips to the Black Hills. Geoff and Lori are some of the kindest and most geneorous people I've ever met...and I'm from Wisconsin ;) They were a wealth of knowledge about the area and beyond which made our days more enjoyable when we weren't at the Lodge. The suite was modern and spacious with a private deck overlooking Spearfish Canyon. For a relaxing and disconnected stay, this is your place.

Beautiful place and the owners are absolutely wonderful. The nicest people ever who treat you like you're in their home (which we kindof were:). They made us omelettes for breakfast and baked cookies and cake in the afternoon. Had a bunch of snacks on hand in the lodge constantly. I felt so spoiled. The rooms are all remodeled and gorgeous! Great view along a beautiful cabin. The owner actually made us a whole cake to take home with us since we were leaving early and wouldn't get breakfast. So sweet! We are booking it again for next Sturgis rally in 2016. Thanks so much!
Stayed there on many Sturges rally's great place very nice owners . For bike week it's the perfect place nice canyon run close to dead wood and Sturges .
