I have dealt with this Company before and everything was fine In July 2020 I hired speedy pavers to repair my driveway and replace concrete sidewalks . I received a estimate from a gentleman named Gary he told me to call when I want the job done . I called the work was scheduled for Saturday August 1, 2020 I gave Gary a deposit in cash he gave me a receipt. August 1,2020 Speedy paving never showed I called up until 2:00pm finally a woman answered the phone I explained why I was calling she said I’m going to contact my boss I never heard from the Boss finally Gary calls I asked what happened he said his guys no showed up he’ll take care of it on Monday August 3,2020 I said I would like a complete refund on August 3rd Gary said he would bring my refund at 6:00pm I called speedy paving Gary never came with my refund never called a gentleman named Wilmer answered I explained he said you’ll get your money I said when he said Gary is my son let me speak with him I said ok I also told him Gary said I would receive the insurance info by mail I never received it Wilmer said you cancelled the contract you don’t need it I said oh ok . In my opinion it’s best to not deal with this Company no one has the decency to apologize they talk to you like they are doing you a favor I’m done they are not professional to say the least Angies’s list have several Companies to help you this Company has a few hours to refund me my money and I’m going to file a lawsuit for time I missed from work for their negligence and unprofessional PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. It’s not worth the aggravation.

I had Speed Paving blacktop me and my neighbor's backyard in early November. It is now June and I decided to pull out my and patio set and sit out back. I immediately noticed my patio chair was sinking into the asphalt. I've attempted several times to call Gary, but he hasn't returned my call. Please don't use this company. The quality of their materials are bad!
We had some work done on April 2018 from Speed Paving located in Elizabeth, NJ. The owner's son named Gary came out and gave us an estimate for the apron part of the driveway along with some patches that needed to be done on our driveway. The work looked nice and everything seemed fine. On June 11, 2018 we noticed a softball size hole in the driveway part where the pavers from Speed Paving had patched up. I texted Gary and asked him to come by the house to see it for himself. He responds via text that he will come by and look at it which he has failed to do. Then he asked me to send him pictures of the hole in which I did send the pictures to him. He has still not responded to me. So buyers beware that if you do decide to hire Speed Paving to get work done, hopefully the asphalt does not go bad in short period of time afterwards because you will be stuck with a crack or hole on your property. **** Update: Gary reached out to me, his crew came to my resident and fixed the whole by patching it up. I am changing my stars from 2 to a 3. The area of the hole does look a little sunk in but we are just glad that it was patched up. Thanks!
