They had a mess up with orders and they forgot our orders ,we had to wait for 1 hour until the food arrives, but at the end they made a discount which it was nice

What seems to be a typical tourist trap at first glance is actually far from it. Sperlonga is a lovely beach town with lots of italian tourists and a bunch of international ones (mostly coming straight from Rome for a day-trip). Maybe that's the reason you still find good food here. This place is right on the main drag of town, paralleling the beach, so it's easy to find. The menu is very big, so there's something for everybody. Pizze looked real good on other tables but we chose some other items on the two lunches we visited here. We had the fried seafood platter with fresh and tasty calamari, shrimp and anchovies. Then the seafood spaghetti with vongole and pulpo. And they didn't cut short on the seafood. Good stuff! Beer was nice and cold. On the other day we went for the cozze (mussels) and vongole spaghetti (a real treat again) and penne with cream, speck (bacon) and red radicchio. Penne didn't look special, but tasted amazing. A nice mix of heavy cream, meat and veggies. But for temperatures of around 100F a bit heavy :) Service was very friendly as well. Owner even gave us some discount on the second visit....just like that. Our dog was welcome as well. Prices were - given the location - fair enough. A bit higher than on the countryside, but far from expensive like in Rome or Florence. A great choice - recommended!

Food just wasn't that great. Some panini had no flavor at all. Coffee was okay. Bruschettonni with pesto was kind of tasteless. Server never asked once us how the food was. She wasn't at all attentative.

We ate once in the bar and another time in the restaurant...both places were delicious. Bar sandwiches are simple and tasty with lots of choices on the menu. The restaurant was also very good and our waiter was wonderful. A favorite of ours in Sperlonga....pretty sure we're eating there a few more times before our time here ends.

We enjoyed an excellent experience here for lunch today! We had a huge group of 21 people and had two large tables under the roof and near the back. The food and service were excellent!! We enjoyed the large pizzas..one with generous amounts of seafood and the other a margherita with prosciutto. All were pleased with the quality. Others in our group had pasta carbonara, gnocchi, tuna salad and vegetarian pizza...all were happy...young and old! Wait staff were accommodating, and provided service with a smile for all of us. We highly recommend this restaurant!
