We camped in site 37 (one of the group sites) and were impressed by how much space we had and the generous distance between us and our nearest neighbors. The site features a lovely old oak that provided perfect shade over the picnic table and fire ring. It was quiet since we were camping in January, but the grounds and bathroom were clean. The hiking was lovely! The host was excellent - she explained everything and was helpful when selling us firewood. A note on firewood since I couldn't find the information on their site - it is available for sale (unless they run out) and was 10 plus tax per bundle. The wood was kiln dried pine and burned easily. We definitely plan to camp here again!

Great hike , mostly shaded. So you can do it on a warm day. It’s a pretty long walk like over 6 miles if you don’t take any short cuts, so bring plenty of water. I got to see deers, squirrels, cardinals, lizards and other wild animals. Notice : this trail is also a bike single trail, so I recommend to do it in the direction opposite to the direction the bike riders ride, that way you’ll get to see them ahead of time and clear the way.

Absolutely a stunning park with its own Beauty. It doesn't have cliffs like Pace Bend Park. But has a beautiful outlook over the river. We ended up here after hours and camped at some unknown area by its self along the river. The staff werent super strict yet the Park was still wonderfully maintained and well kept. Highly Recommend it...

Pretty good camping sight. There are way too many sticker burrs however.
