My daughter has attended Spotlight for years now. Picking Spotlight was the best decision we could of made for her. The level of teaching is superb and professional whilst maintaining a nurturing and friendly approach. The school offers so many opportunity’s for the dancers of all ages from exams to shows to competitions to performances. Everything they do is done to the highest standard and that comes from the passion and love for dance and young people that Gillian (the principal) has along with Steve, Amy and Georgia. If you are looking for a professional, established, successful, friendly dance school this is the place to be!

I have been a part of Spotlight stage school since it opened in March 1993. I am now nearly 32 years old and both my daughters now attend. I can’t express the appreciation and love I have for this school. Through shows, exams and life long friendships it gave me a focus and a passion for dance. Gillian the principle is professional and her passion for teaching the children shines through. It builds confidence, and gives opportunities to all children aswell as forming great friendships and a love for dance that can be taking into adulthood into a career as many past and present pupils have gone on to do. Gillian, Amy and Steve are brilliant with the kids and encourages each one of them to push to their potential. An amazing school in the heart of Allerton for all children.

I don't live local to this Dance School but when my daughter said she wanted to dance I decided Spotlight was the school for us due to knowing if from when I was young, local and had friends that went. My daughter has developed so much since starting involved in a variety of weekly classes, annual shows at a theatre, competitions and exams. The pupils are like family and all support each other to achieve their best. Thank you also to the amazing teachers who I must add continued to run dance sessions remotely via zoom which enabled our children to develop and do what they love even in the unknown times. Forever grateful x

Both my daughters attend Spotlight. We live on completely the opposite side of town, so this choice was never for convenience, this is due to the dedication which Gill (principle) gives to the school. The school whilst being extremely professional has a warm, personal touch which i think is absolutely essential ensuring the children settle and enjoy their time. Gill has produced a lot of success and talent in her pupils who have gone on to perform professionally. My daughters have made many friendships here also, the atmosphere created by Gill, Steve, Georgia and Amy is warm and friendly with zero tolerance to any kind of bullying behaviour. There is so much more to say, but i cant recommend Spotlight enough! ️ ️️️️️️️️️
