So why is it that I have lived in many places where the USPS was ok with delivering oversized packages to my door, but here they absolutely refuse... and I can see the mailbox from my apartment, so it wouldn’t be a stretch. I have had to return shipments to sender and pay extra for shipping because my local mail service can’t seem to do their job. Whoever their Sunday delivery person is, I’m grateful, because he/she has brought things to my door from time to time. The other person is clearly lazy and uninterested in providing proper customer service... government agency or not... not reliable at all... I have been desperately trying to get shoppers to boycott them because of the frequent problems I keep having.

Called in a formal complaint because we had our flag up for outgoing mail for 3 business days and the mail carrier never stopped to pick it up. Someone from the post office called and left a voicemail saying that he had spoken with the carrier and they stated they couldn’t pick up our mail because there was a vehicle in the way. We have never had vehicles in the way of the mailbox. Our house has been skipped over many times since this incident. I grew up in a rural town about 30 minutes south of Spring Hill and we never had issues with the mail like we have here.

Constant inaccurate deliveries. It’s a running joke in the neighborhood. Literally saw we were home and I was actually receiving a fedex delivery, and the postman came up rang the doorbell and literally waited 2 seconds before leaving a “sorry I missed you “ note with not option for redelivery. Given the fact that my wife and I work it’s virtually impossible for us to physically pick it up. This government agency needs to be dissolved and the “business” sold off to a real shipping company to run. This branch is particularly abysmal.

they cant print a shipping label for security reasons yet they can gladly print you a new one with the same information and charge you twice. this makes no sense.
