Noon on a Sunday. Two long lines: 6 people on the return line, 15 (no, 20 now) on the checkout line. I count 7 associates on the floor, ONE functioning register per-line, they're about to maybe open another one. Store associates are having a grand ol' time chatting in an isle at the back. Been in this line for 25 minutes. That about sums it up.

Terrible experience! Example: They have lots of Comforters to choose from, but all the comforters are all sealed and LOCKED. None are out to touch and feel. The information on the product's labels, even from the same manufacturer are inconsistent. Example: Thread count is missing on some selections. It is absolutely impossible to compare products. More information IS available on BB&B website, but not in the store, on the shelves or on products' label. The employees at the store are clueless and useless. Small appliances are crippled and/or locked down (ex. Coffee or espresso makers loading mechanism is glued down). Then there's the annoying coupon hassle. Enough with this 20% off nonsense! Give us customer a break! Shopping online is a better experience. This is why retailers are dying. BB&B is next on the chopping block, unless they'll redefine the stores by letting customers experience the products.

I really love this store and I've been a customer for years since it has always been an enjoyable shopping experience except today Saturday 11/7. The cashier \Johanna\ was very efficient and pleasant but a minor discrepancy came up and she graciously called upon someone named \Laura\. I assumed she was a manager and as the cashier quickly informed her of the nature of the discrepancy, without hesitation she denied any dispute over the matter. The part that's troublesome wasn't her denial, but that she had made up her mind before taking a moment to really study the situation or simply giving me any benefit of the doubt. Very poor managerial skills.

Great membership benefits. Have shopped here infrequently for many years. I like the easy parking and the email discounts 20% or more. Really like how spacious this place is. But despite the space, it was crowded with long lines to check out. So only 4 stars.
