Dugan Run Horse Trail

So in the many many years our group have been riding solo and in group we have seen maybe two bears but that was years apart but at Dugan Run we ran across three in the span of half an hour. Not only that but the third one came after us. It's about a 1 in 5000 chance of being ran down by a black bear and this black bear was not bluffing. We tried everything in our power to scare this guy off but he stood his ground and when we turned around and walked away because it was either walk away or fight this bear he stalked us back to camp so we packed up and left. That was honestly the scariest moment of our lives but the good thing was is the horses did fantastic for trying to stand up to a bear.
