Once again The Travel Desk, Ned & Alison delivered on another bucket trip. I actually blame Ned for this one as I was looking at Asia, Thailand area and Ned mentioned the Nadaam Festival in Mongolia. Hadn't heard about it but googled it a bit, went back to researching Thailand and area, back to looking at Mongolia, back to Thailand. Well, Mongolia won me over and off I went to celebrate a milestone birthday! They arranged everything perfectly from finding a great hotel in Hong Kong where I stopped for a couple of days, to arranging the BEST travel health insurance (I needed an emergency dentist in Hong Kong) and staying in touch. Best agents ever! So that's now 6 continents down - 1 to go!! Would not even think of any other travel agent so Ned, you can't retire yet. - Cathy McMurrich Calgary, Alberta, Canada

I usually book my own travel, I never saw the need to go through a travel agency. I booked a 9 day trip to Africa to do the gorilla trek in Rwanda (amazing!), and thought that this type of trip was a bit beyond my capabilities. A friend recommended that I book through The Travel Desk, and I am so glad I did. I had excellent service from start to finish! I always had quick responses to all of my questions. My agent Ned was outstanding! She has traveled to 57 countries and her passion for travel was infectious. She listened to all my wants and what my budget was, and came up with an itinerary that met all my needs and then some. Her expertise with visas, vaccinations, accommodations and currency issues put me at ease for all of my logistical questions and safety concerns. Even though The Travel Desk is in another province, it did not seem to matter. After a few phone calls, most of our communication was via email which made responses fast and the planning efficient. It allowed me to do a bit of research before actually committing to booking each activity, but all of her suggestions were fantastic, she gave me activity options I would have never though possible if I booked on my own. The first part of my trip took us to Uganda, which I had no previous desire to visit, but fell in love with the country and it's people. It was a very enriching experience that I would have never had if not for Ned. (chimpanzee trek in Uganda, white water rafting on The Nile...so amazing!!) I would highly recommend booking with them for all your travel needs, I can't wait until my next exotic vacation.
Working with Alison was incredible!!!She managed to pull 15 of us together ages 25 to 67 at a resort designed to please all of us...very happy with her service..if your looking to pull a group together she will go out of her way to help you...everyone was very pleased...Rui Sante fe cabo was awsome..will go back forsure..thank you so much \The Travel desk..Alison...
