Vojvodina Environmental Movement is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1960. Our mission is creating space for active and responsible participation of local communities in sustainable development through education, volunteering, promotion and advocacy on local, national and international level. We are achieving this goal through three programmes 1. Educational for sustainable development programme; 2. Programme of local sustainable development; 3. Public Advocacy programme. Main topics of the three programmes are focusing on development of the three main pillars of sustainable development 1. Environmental protection (energy efficiency, climate change, nature protection, forestry & biodiversity); 2. Social development (children & youth development, volunteering, youth work, human rights education, active citizenship) 3. Economic development (ecotourism, youth center)
