Food and coffee is good but the view and the beach-side ambiance is hard to beat... St. Kilda beach is a strange one as it has it's positives and negatives depending on how you look at it but this place is definitely one of the positives if you visit at the right time. Have enjoyed the hanging egg chairs facing the Port Phillip Bay far too many times to remember.

Great pub atmosphere, good outdoor seating areas, food not cheap but good quality. Can order at outdoor tables from your phone or if seated inside at the bar. Busy on Fridays and weekends so best to reserve (10 credit card reservation hold per pax required)

We had a 'Special Birthday Lunch' last Friday with 9 equally 'special ladies' and couldn't have been happier. We had a fabulous table right in front of the window looking out to the Bay on a beautiful sunny day. From the time of booking to our waitress who introduced herself on arrival to the service, food & drinks were all exceptional. We would have no hesitation in recommending Republica St Kilda Beach.

We’re big fans of Republica in St Kilda. Situated right on the beach front, they have a beautiful outdoor section for summer days, live music, good food and friendly service. Also, VIEWS! Best spot to spend a lazy lunch before or after a stroll along the beach.

Had a bad dining experience. They don’t have one of the food I ordered thru the app were asked for a refund and I said yes. Not happy with the service. Small portion of 35 cone bay barramundi- too fishy, no lemon on the side to squeeze at least and lacking of flavour or even salt I just forgot to take a photo of it but the presentation on the plate looks good. No visible sugar to find for my coffee, and red head man said there is a booking on our table even if we’re not finish eating yet, there’s too MANY vacant tables to find and he’ll say there’s booking on our exact table btw our table is 116 lucky us it’s Easter Monday and it’s not busy at all. I even tipped twice. The only good in this place are the expensive oysters. Definitely not coming back. I paid 16 parking to try this restaurant just to be treated like “get the **** out of here. Be nice!

Great place to sit and relax. Nice vibes with great views. Amazing drinks and light food options (probably wouldn’t chose Republica for a sit down main meal again but would come back for an afternoon of light grazing and a few drinks). Staff are lovely, it’s kid friendly and there’s live music.

Republica is set in a unique location right next to St Kilda beach .. Lunch was pristine with excellent food with a view of the bright blue bay right next to us. The kilpatric oysters were beautiful to begin with.. the mains were just right and we loved every bit. Service was top notch and everything was explained and served with a smile. Must mention the cocktails we ordered. It was amazing. Thank you from our family to yours.
