Absolutely LOVE the food here. I religiously get the vegetarian platter, even take out is a huge portion. There is a about six different dishes in the platter and each one is uniquely flavored and scrumptious. There sponge bread is used as a base when eating in and to-go plates. One of my go-to comfort food places. There are vegan and vegetarian options. The service (even curb-side) is great and this family-owned business offers delicious traditional food at a great price point.

i absolutely loveeee this restaurant. the ladies that work here are very nice, and they make the most excellent food. i really recommend the veggie platter. so yummy, and the portion sizes are huge. it lasts for a couple meals, which is nice. overall, this is such a good restaurant, if not my favorite in st. louis. definitely show them some support :)
I am so happy I decided to step out my comfort zone, in terms of food because now I know how PERFECT Meskerem is! I keep bringing all my friends here because the food is mind-blowingly good. Great service, food, and music too! The world music they have playing is pleasant. Now I need to go find more African restaurants in St. Louis, so thank you Meskerem!
Really awesome and seemingly authentic Ethiopian cuisine (I only say ‘seemingly’ because I’ve never been to Ethiopia). We got a meat and vegetarian platter, plus a fish meal. The fish was the rockstar of the bunch, but it was all really good. In addition to the great food, the service was excellent as well. Highly recommend this place.
