This hotel was the perfect stay for our family. Lots of activities available from the pool, beach volleyball, shuffleboard, mini mini golf, cornhole, etc. Literally steps from the beach. Great pool and pool bar with affordable and delicious drinks. Customer service of facility was excellent and responsive. Although sold out, the resort never felt crowded. Rooms are small but who cares, we were never in there anyway! They were comfortable and convenient!!!

The location is amazing. With it's own private beach section, volleyball net. It is surrounded by many activities for all ages. When I reserved the room I was labeled as Superior Gulf View. I thought it would be facefront to the beach but turns out it was on the side where you could still see the beach. That naming was very misleading. I asked about it turns out those rooms are always booked long ahead of time. I was looking around and I think they only have four of those. It has a motel kind of smell and that's one of the things that wherever I stay I am not to fond of. But it was decent. The easy beach access and private beach area definitely made up for it.
Took our 3 kids there last week. Extremely clean and friendly place.. The staff couldn't have been better! Blanca, in housekeeping does a great job. Shane at the front desk was great also. They truly made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Already planning on going back next year.
We love plaza beach resort. From their other locations, to this one. We stayed her as first timers in st. Pete beach last year and loved every second. From every amenity you could think of to the pool, bar, location everythinf about it is great. We just got done with our second stay 3/28-3/31 and are planning a summer trip already. We can’t wait to be back. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating which makes the stay even that much more Pleasant
This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long, long time. The hotel and staff are top notch. Not to mention the cute 50's theme! The day before check in we got a phone call asking about our needs. They said they noticed that we had a child, and were wondering if we wanted a pack and play...I have never had a hotel call me to ask my needs the day before check in. My husband, 1-1/2 year old, and I have one of the balcony kitchenettes. When our toddler goes to sleep, we come out here to either suntan or have a beer/cocktail. The hotel also has a great play area for young kids. It is very kid friendly, yet not kid overrun (Disney anyone?). The pool is great, the views are great (sunsets), the room is great, and so are the staff. I highly recommend coming here.
I LOVE THIS HOTEL! the whole staff is REALLY nice! They have amazing games and a great view of the beach! It feels like home! This is the ONLY place we’ll stay in st.Pete! We also love the retro theme so much!
Wonderful location. Family friendly. Direct access to the beach. Anything you need is readily available. Staff here are phenomenal. Always polite and quick to respond to requests.
