Runneymede to Windsor ..... And a return journey. On a lovely sunny Saturday morning, the boatyard is easy to find and has parking , or you can park at the NT car park , free to members or French Bros. Will give you a ticket for the car. The staff are very friendly and professional , we left a few minutes later than stated but it really didn't matter. We were aboard the Queen of the Thames , I think the largest boat in the fleet . An upper and lower deck to choose from , of course we had to have the upper deck and sit right at the front. Children huh ! No my wife. It's a busy river and the skipper had to be on the lookout the whole time because of the day trippers in hire craft (more to come) I really admired the skipper for his handling of the boat , so professional the way he handled such a large boat in and out of the locks , and mooring alongside quays when we had to wait .... all on the use of the twin engines . Brilliant. Arrival in busy Windsor ... A trip to the castle that will have to be done on another day because it was so busy. Wandered around Windsor and Eton then back on the boat at 16.00 hrs . Well , I thought it was busy going to Windsor..... Wow ! Coming back was a whole new experience, little hire craft with beer and wine soaked passengers and drivers cutting up The Queen of the Thames, and all the while the skipper showing great control of boat and temper . A great day out. Thank you the crew of QofTT

Great trip. Helpful staff. Recommended
It was a 60th birthday. Absolutely perfect. Great food, disco and staff are a credit to the company. Seeing Windsor from the thames at sunset was magical.
Good set up and nice evening out but road was in a poor state and lack of lighting there meant it was black as the ace of spades .
Very friendly staff, great service. I'll definitely be coming back!
