People not the facility make the difference in long term care. The staff was genuinely caring and attentive to my father’s needs. Minette, Anna, Jazmine, Roumana, Shondra & Angela were exceptional. My dad and I developed a very special relationship with them. I will be eternally grateful to them for taking excellent care of my father.

'At the very beginning, the food did not look appealing, nourishing. After that, it improved greatly. Thanks to Anna The Director of Patient Relations, I was able to make my own food choices daily. Overall, The Nursing Department was good. Robin and Henry did everything to make me feel comfortable. They checked on me frequently. Marie Charles, The Certified Nursing Assistant was very kind and pleasant. The Admission Department, Minette and David was very helpful. David made sure I got everything in my room that I asked for. One day, I needed a fan and comfortable chair, he got them right a way. Minette was making sure that I was comfortable. Liliana form Housekeeping Department was very nice. She made sure I got received extra paper towels and toilet paper. Rehab Department was All good . they took a lot of interest to push you to help you to reach your therapy goals.

I will rate this review based on one care provider, Cris Antipuesta who was fantastic. I was having a hard time getting updates on my mother who was transferred there from Greenwich hospital to recover from COVID. It was frustrating not to be able to connect with one person who consistently cared for my mother. When I spoke with Cris, he instantly calmed me down. He shared his own experience of caring for his mother in the Philippines, and was so empathetic and genuine in his interest in my mother's well-being. Cassena is lucky to have Cris and I wish that all healthcare professionals could take a page out of his book for how to exemplify superior understanding and care. Thank you Cris for giving me the reassurance and strength I needed to get through this and more importantly, caring for my mother.

Mice infested facility. Continuously understaff resulting in inadequate patient care/falls. Responsible for the NUMEROUS deaths during the covid 19 outbreak because they kept sick people in the room with people who were not and those residents eventually contracted it and died. All management cares about is filling up beds and collecting money. Send your loved ones anywhere but here !

My mother was admitted there from Stamford Hospital during the pandemic which was vey hard for me being that she is 90 y/o. I was concerned about her declining because she would not be able to see family members or speak to them but boy I was wrong. The staff caught me off guard with their compassion and care provided to my mother. Recreation was able to accommodate me with a Facetime and calls everyday which put my heart at ease. They kept her active and engaged which I thought was amazing. Rehab also was able to Facetime us to show us her progression. Nursing was attentive and called me with updates periodically.. My mother is a picky eater and the Kitchen staff accommodated her wants , which I think is important. Overall the care was great , I would definitely recommend this facility to other families and its in a great area with lots of parking.
