One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The owner seemed like he did not want to do business, and had an attitude throughout the entire process. When I purchased the clubs, he had only given me 6 clubs when I bought 7, and he gave me an attitude saying I couldn't count correctly when he had actually only given me six. Overall, he was very disrespectful in general with poor customer service, especially to someone spending that much money on new clubs. I would encourage you to spend your money and time elsewhere.

I wish I didn't have to write a review, but my experience was just THAT poor...I recently got my clubs regripped, and Paul did a fine job. That part isn't my gripe. The level of service and professionalism is astonishingly low. I was greeted when I first entered with somewhat of a confused " I don't know you" look, and proceeded to explain what I needed, and Paul said he could do it. My second interaction with Paul was regarding groove sharpening. I dropped off my clubs a week ago, and I asked when they could be done by. Paul asked when I needed them, and I said I'll be back the day after 4th of July, so no rush. I came in on the 5th, expecting to have the clubs ready, since in had been 3 days. I was instead, scoffed at and told they weren't ready because he was very busy. Fair enough, he said he could have them done by the next day (Saturday). I said I might just pick them up Sunday, since my Saturday was rather busy. He then said, and I quote "pshhh, no you won't." - I was confused and gave a look, and he said he was closed Sundays, so I couldn't get them. That's fine I could come Monday, but the response was so off-putting that I can assure you I'll never be back again. But it get's better. I went in on Monday....AND THEY STILL WEREN'T DONE. Every time I went in it felt like it was my fault, and finally picked them up today, without and apology or anything from Paul. I was really hoping this place was going to be great, but I was tremendously let down by the lack of attention to detail and total disregard for customer's schedules. Hope this serves as a wake up call for Paul to take a little better care of his customers, but sadly I will not be one of them moving forward.

Whether it's dire and timely need of repair to your favorite club (putter in my case) or the selection, alteration, and amazing craftsmanship of new clubs, Paul is your guy! He is one of the most knowledgeable, empathetic, and just overall genuine people in the golf business that will listen well to your needs and steer you in the right direction,. Moving forward I personally will be employing Paul and Downtown Golf for all my golfing needs.
