Having decided to have an extension to the rear of our house, we selected Orchard (Stamford) for our building project which also included a fully fitted kitchen and new windows. The decision was not based on cost alone but also on the attitude and approach when they first visited our home, the whole team arrived. It was obviously clear that they understood what we required through their attention to detail. From the start of the contract we felt confident that we made the right decision. Over the 4 months it took to build the extension and complete all of the external and internal works, Orchard were outstanding. We were hugely impressed with the professionalism of their project managers, Mark Atkinson (extension) and Stuart Robins (kitchen), their commitment and professional attitude to our early morning site meetings to discuss and agree improvements to the design and the speed at which they reacted to any changes. They were always willing to listen to our requirements. This new space has changed the way we live and we love it. We were so impressed with the quality of windows and French doors that we decided to purchase a new back door and additional French doors to our lounge. We have already recommended Orchard to a number of friends and neighbours and would be happy to be used as a reference point to any one wishing to use Orchard for their house project.
