After initially registering my interest in a rental property, I was phoned by a very nice lady who said that they needed to whittle down the number of applicaants because there was so much interest. So far, so fine - totally understandable. After answering all the questions about my work, earnings and living situation I was told they would call me the early part of the next week to arrange a viewing. However, once it got to the mid-point of the next week, I found myself looking at the property in anticipation of the viewing and hopefully leasing it, to find that the "Let Agreed" banner was next to the listing. No phone call, no e-mail, nothing. My tenancy is up in 8 weeks, I don't like to waste peoples time (take note, Richardsons), so I am not one of those people who goes and views a large number of properties knowing that they don't really want to live there. This would have been only my 2nd viewing. So now, having waited for any kind of communication for them, I have wasted time that could have been spent looking elsewhere. I certainly won't be renting any properties from them, and i'd advise caution before you do.
